Dog Collars & Leads

Reece's Handmade Leather Goods dog collars and leads are handmade by Reece Matthews using 4mm to 5mm thick Hermann Oak leather. All dog collars and lead are riveted together with copper rivets. To ensure maximum strength and durability all our hardware is either stainless steel or solid brass. Contact me for custom orders.

Shipping + Fulfilment

Handmade collars and leads take time. Your dogs collars and or lead should ship within 1 week of when you ordered it, and depending on where you live, it will take 2-5 working days to get to you in Australia, and up to several weeks to other parts of the world. If you live in Australia and don't have your collar and or lead in 3 weeks, get in touch with me. I may be behind because of the high volume of work.

Sizing

Q: How do I measure accurately for a collar?  

A: Take the collar your dog wears most often and measure from the hole he or she uses to the end of the buckle.

 

Leather Care

It's not a bad idea to condition your collar and lead periodically. All my leather goods have been sufficiently oiled before leaving the work shop, so don't go crazy. You shouldn't have the do this more than once a year. Products I highly recommend are Oakwood leather dressing or 100% pure neatsfoot oil.
